It took about 3-4 hours to get to where we had to go, because I got mixed up in subway stations, parking lots, and such. On the way back, it took only an hour and a half.
I was supposed to go meet Natalie from Cascada at her hotel, but her set time changed so I had to meet her at Summer Rush.
When my Mom and I got to Canada's Wonderland, there was a long walk to get where we had to go. When we do finally get there, we got hooked up with two wristbands to Summer Rush and two food coupons. After getting directed to where we are supposed to go, Estelle had just finished her set. I kind of wanted to hear it, but I heard a garbled version of "American Boy" because I was behind the area where the concert was.
After Estelle there was some DJ, playing horrible trance music that shakes the ground and the entire sold out 17,000 person audience.
SEVENTEEN THOUSAND PEOPLE!
There are crazy people sitting on peoples shoulders, taking their shirts off, and waving them around in the air.
Since I can't stand the horrible music, I decide to go to the place to get the free food. The food was really good...There was chicken, veal parmesan, carrots, green beans, and potato salad...
So, after that I need to go to the washroom, and people show me how to get there... During that time Girlicious was on stage, "singing" their crap music. "LETS DO SOME STUPID S#!7!" Anyways, after I exit the washroom, a guy sees my Mom and I and escorts us in a different way than the direction we came in, as if the area was restricted. I waited until he was gone and took my Mom and ran back to where we were.
Once I get back there, Natalie from Cascada has started her set. And I try to get in the doors of where the concert is, but I can't get back in. So I can't see a single thing that was going on when Natalie is the main performer I wanted to see.
While she's on stage, I met up with the person from her record label and he told me where to go when she was finished her set. After her set finished he told me to wait a few minutes, which I ended up waiting an hour. During that period I saw a few other performers in that area, and saw her take pictures with a few fans...
Elise Estrada was standing around the whole time, and she looked like she just wanted to be recognized. She looked like she wanted to take tons of pictures with tons of people... But she only took pictures with 2 or 3 people... For this reason I didn't ask for a picture with her. And because her "hit song" Unlove You sounds like Over It by Katharine McPhee, which sounds like Too Little Too Late by JoJo.
I saw Jesse McCartney there, and I didn't ask him for a picture either, because he was standing right in front of me, and getting his microphone checked and such, as he was about to enter the stage. I did take a picture of him, though. I have watermarked the HQ version so nobody steals it from here... And if they do, it has the link here on it anyways.

So, while Jesse McCartney is still performing on stage, I get called in to meet Natalie from Cascada.
I go in this building, which apparently is where all the dressing rooms are, and meet her in one of the rooms. (Since I haven't mentioned her in a while, my Mom is still with me.)
Natalie's manager had apparently told her my name was Adrienne, or whoever was meeting her next had that name. Anyways she had said something like "Nice to meet you Adrienne, is that your name?" and the guy from her label had said "No, this is Adam." After that we laughed it off... The guy from the record label had to explain the contest I won to her... And he mentioned how I had to create a Facebook page and that I had the best one...
When I originally entered the contest it was for the "Perfect Day with Cascada! Winner chosen by Natalie!" Which the winner obviously wasn't, as she didn't have a clue about it.
My Mom introduces herself as "Mom" and Natalie says "That's the same thing I call my Mom!".
So she autographed my copies of her CD, and "special autograph card" as she had called it. Since I'm in "OMG I AM FINALLY MEETING YOU AHH SHE'S RIGHT HERE" land, my Mom had asked questions such as how long she has been touring, and Natalie responded 4 years. Natalie had asked me what my favourite song was on the album and I said "Faded". I'm actually not sure what my favourite song is, but that was fine... She had then asked me if I like the song "What Hurts The Most" on the album, and I said yes, and she said "I enjoy that one."
She had asked me if I still go to school, and I said I was homeschooled and my Mom explained why. After that I got pictures with her, and my Mom felt the guy from her label was about to kick us out, so she suggested for him to get in a picture. After that I was able to talk with her a bit, and mentioned how I take music lessons and how I am learning to play the guitar and piano. She said "That's better than me!" Around that time we had to share our final goodbyes and such. She shook my hand and my Mom's hand and said "it was nice to meet you!".
After that, Jesse McCartney is still on stage. He literally had the longest set. Girlicious sang 2 songs, Cascada sang 5, and Jesse sang about 8. About 10 minutes later he leaves the stage and runs to the dressing room building. He put a towel over his head and ran. It's kind of weird the different attitude he had... When there were 100 people that he had to meet and greet with, he was fine, friendly, and nice... When he's performing for 17,000 people, he's all edgy, wearing sunglasses, and seems to not appreciate being there...
So, that was my day. It was fun, I kind of wish I met more people or had more time to spend with Natalie, but you can't have it "aww".
Here is a slightly bad picture of the audience!

Signing off now,
- Adam o_o
